Not Nice Spice
Well, the details are still to come but we are officially no longer homeless and are set to move at the end of the month (with my parents, so send your prayers to Stud—no one need live with their in-laws for more than a long weekend). It was a crazy whirlwind and everything went from zero to sixty in four days. And then more crazy goodness happened after that. So while we pack up apartment living for good, I thought I’d share some of the goodness that isn’t going into a box—Maty’s!!!! I originally discovered their products when I needed an ointment for Chickadees (original label in pictures). Every single time my kiddos get a new tooth, boogers and congestion ensue. Rubbing the chest rub on her feet helped a ton! I’m not a huge fan of overly processed, refined, and chemical crap in our food or body products, so Maty’s is a great fit for our little family. Right now my absolute favorite is the baby ointment! It’s a perfect match for Little Dude’s bum, especially since overuse of coconut oil will dry out the skin. During both pregnancies my heartburn nearly killed me, although their little mops made it almost worth it. Maty’s Acid Indigestion Relief helped to subdue the heartburn enough to make it manageable. Some days just breathing gave me heartburn bad enough to stop me in my tracks; unfortunately, drinking straight apple cider vinegar was the best cure. But a FABULOUS cure for a tickle-y cough is hands down their cough syrup! Perfect for the littles- it’s WHOLE foods!!! I’m a Pinterest Queen but the follow-through tends to be a little weaker, so I’m not one to whip up a batch of homemade cough syrup at 2am when, of course, every cold begins. We’ve only had to use it for two colds for Chickadee (Little Dude is too young for the honey and, knock on a massive piece of wood, hasn’t had more than congestion). I take it right along side her and it’s so delicious. I was worried since many children’s medicines are artificially flavored and I was bracing for a war of wills. What a pleasant surprise when she gobbled it up and asked for more! Though I should note the only sweet foods she has are honey and maple syrup.
We pick Maty’s up at the local pharmacy or Target (for obvious reasons—HA!), but you can add them to your Amazon cart now, too! *This is not a sponsored post- just an enthusiastic mama.
